Master Your Internal Narrative
Understand the parts of you that shape your world. Move beyond reactive patterns to quiet the internal noise, settle your Guardian, and reconnect with your true Guide.
Personal Growth|Resilience|Wellbeing

Acts of Self® is a practical, integrative framework designed to help you understand the different aspects of yourself that shape how you feel, think, and act every day.
We all have internal patterns that can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Grounded in established psychology - including CBT, Attachment theory, and Compassion-Focused Therapy - this model translates your complex inner experiences into a simple, structured language.
By identifying the interaction between your internal "Acts" - like the protective Guardian, the meaning-making Author, or the values-led Guide - you gain the clarity needed to move from reactive habits toward intentional, balanced living. This framework helps you:
Navigate Daily Life: Understand why you react the way you do in relationships, at work, and within yourself.
Break Old Patterns: Identify the historical "blueprints" that no longer serve your present self.
Find Internal Balance: Create a collaboration between your internal parts to reduce conflict and increase peace of mind.

Individual Psychotherapy
Do you ever feel like a 'house divided'? One part of you wants to move forward, while another holds you back? One voice demands perfection, while another feels like giving up? This isn't a flaw in your character; it’s a lack of alignment in your internal system. With Acts of Self allow you to see this system in action:
-
Safe and Non-judgemental space: We create a safe space to allow you to explore and identify key acts and understand the roles they have been forced to play. A strong therapeutic relationship is at the core of all the work we do.
-
Empowerment: We allow you to guide sessions in the direction you wish to go, in conjunction with gentle suggestions from our qualified psychotherapists should you need a bit more direction.
-
Deep Integration: We move beyond surface level exploration by working to calm your safety system and allow you to work past former narratives to ensure you are working in alignment with your true values. This ensure you are working towards being the best version of yourself.
This isn't generic life coaching. It is a high-resolution, theory-led approach that combines the depth of psychotherapy and psychology with a practical, visual framework you can use every single day.

Navigating Common Challenges
You do not need a specific diagnosis or a high-performance career to benefit from our approach. The Acts of Self framework is built to address the universal patterns of human struggle. Many of our clients find this approach particularly effective when their internal system is expressing itself through:
Anxiety & Overwhelm: When the Guardian or Rebel is stuck in a state of hyper-vigilance, constantly scanning for threats.
Low Mood & Burnout: When the system has "shut down" to protect itself, often because the Guide has lost its sense of direction.
Persistent Self-Criticism: When a "Harsh Author" or an overactive critic is dominating the internal narrative.
"When we started to explore the Acts of Self I feel like I made the most progress and it provides the breakdown I desperately needed to understand myself. Incredibly beneficial and I am so grateful for it! Thank you for creating such a life changing theory!"
